Do you have hypermobility and want to practice yoga safely? Then try this Yin Yang class, where José combines gentle Yang poses to build strength and stability with Yin poses to improve joint awareness and relaxation. The focus is on activating muscles to protect the joints and releasing tension safely.
This class emphasises building awareness, gentle engagement, and stability while avoiding excessive strain on the joints. José combines the meditative stillness of Yin poses with the active, strengthening movements of Yang poses to create a balanced practice. We will conclude the class with a guided Savasana, or if you prefer, a seated meditation. If you have any questions or difficulties, please let me know.
Props needed: a bolster, blanket and blocks.
